Responsibilities

• Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process
• Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting documentation
• Ensure accurate financial reporting in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Maintain and strengthen SOX compliance and internal control processes
• Partner with Finance, FP&A, Internal Audit, and business leaders across the organization
• Analyze financial results and investigate variances
• Identify opportunities to streamline accounting processes through automation and continuous improvement
• Support internal and external audit activities
• Mentor, coach, and develop accounting professionals while fostering a collaborative team environment
• Participate in special projects, system implementations, and strategic finance initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• CPA designation strongly preferred
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Prior experience leading or supervising accounting teams
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and internal controls
• ERP system experience (SAP, Oracle, or similar preferred)
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Excellent analytical, communication, and leadership abilities

Preferred Experience

• Fortune 500 or large corporate accounting environment
• Public accounting (Big 4 or national firm) experience
• Experience leading process improvement or automation initiatives
• Financial reporting and audit support experience

Pay

$90,000 - $115,000 per year
