Financial Reporting Analyst

Job Duties

• Handles accounting journal entries and financial analytics for various specialized areas
• Reconciles assigned balance sheet accounts, prepares supporting work papers for the external audit, and follows-up on outstanding issues
• Prepares various monthly internal reports
• Performs various tasks related to the consolidation of subsidiary financial statements
• Affords assistance in the preparation and timely submission of required SEC filings (8-Ks, 10-Ks and proxy)
• Affords assistance in researching accounting regulations and SEC disclosure requirements; provides technical accounting consultation to internal team members regarding US GAAP and practical implementation thereof
• Affords assistance in the administration of stock compensation programs
• Performs other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2 years in experience with general ledger, financial statements, and analytical responsibilities
• 6 months in prior experience preparing 10-Ks and 10-Qs (Preferred)
• 6 months in real estate experience (Preferred)
• 6 months in experience with Workiva (Preferred)
• Strong attention to detail, prioritization and multitasking skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Ability to comprehend, interpret and apply accounting principles
