Financial Relationship Banker - Ridge Rd Branch, Brooklyn, OH (Spanish bilingual preferred)

About the role

A Relationship Banker plays a key role in looking out for our consumer and business customers. You are responsible for retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent customer service and effectively resolving customer issues.
• Proactively identifying opportunities to grow customer relationships through pre-set appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, and sourcing referrals from customers, bank colleagues, and partners.
• Educating and referring customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong internal partnerships.
• Educating customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking).
• Maintaining knowledge of all products, services, technology, and policies.
• Adhering to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of customer service and sales in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales (can include military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role).
• 1 year of consumer and business deposit products and lending knowledge OR Business to Business sales experience OR Bachelor's Degree.
• 1 year of customer service and sales in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales (can include military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role).

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.

• Spanish bilingual skills.

Schedule

This is a non-exempt position (eligible for overtime pay).

Workplace Type

Office. Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement, combining in-office and work-from-home opportunities. Remote roles will have the opportunity to come together in our offices for moments that matter. Specific work arrangements will be provided by the hiring team.
