Financial Relationship Banker - Maineville, OH

About the role

A Relationship Banker plays a key role in looking out for our consumer and business customers. You are responsible for retaining and growing consumer and business customer relationships by proactively identifying financial goals and needs and recommending appropriate deposit, loan, and other banking products and services.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service and effectively resolve customer issues.
• Proactively identify opportunities to grow customer relationships through pre-set appointments, Centers of Influence, a disciplined sales process, new customer follow-up program, and sourcing referrals from customers, bank colleagues, and partners.
• Educate and refer customers to other areas of the bank to deepen relationships and build strong internal partnerships.
• Educate customers on how to optimize their use of bank technology (online, mobile, and ATM banking).
• Maintain knowledge of all products, services, technology, and policies.
• Adhere to all operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.
• Demonstrate acumen in sales, customer service, relationship management, banking, consumer lending, business banking, business lending, communication, and presentation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2 years of customer service and sales in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales (can include military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role).
• 1 year of consumer and business deposit products and lending knowledge OR Business-to-Business sales experience OR Bachelor’s Degree.
• 1 year of customer service and sales in banking, financial services, or goal-driven retail sales (can include military service in an administration, contracting, civil affairs, or similar role).

• Bachelor’s degree.
• Comfort with technology such as mobile services and online banking services.

Schedule

Exempt Status: No (eligible for overtime pay).

Workplace Type

Office. Certain positions outside our branch network may be eligible for a flexible work arrangement, combining in-office and work-from-home opportunities.
