Financial Reconciliation Specialist - Centralized Processing - HYBRID

About the role

This person will facilitate money movement for clients, reconcile client bank accounts, and research exception items for various fund companies. Must be willing to work on site at least 6 days/month and the hours of 8 AM – 5 PM Central Time.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate money movement for clients
• Reconcile client bank accounts
• Research exception items for various fund companies
• Enter wires in various banking systems
• Perform quality control of manual and automated outgoing wires
• Escalate more complex functions to higher levels of management
• Follow workflow priorities and ensure all processing standards and client needs are met
• Conduct quality checks by auditing work performed
• Develop and implement process improvements
• Minimize open items by conducting root cause/trend analysis and working with internal teams to reduce/eliminate recurrence
• Document processes and procedures
• Train and guide associates within direct team by sharing job knowledge and best practices

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Excel proficiency
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Attention to detail and ability to trace problems to their source and see resolution through to completion
• Self-motivated, takes ownership of issues, recommends solutions, and applies relevant procedures
• Ability to effectively manage a high-volume inbox, ensuring timely responses and resolution of client requests
