About the role
This role will support financial strategy, forecasting, and performance management initiatives that strengthen business visibility and decision-making. You will partner with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to improve planning processes, financial discipline, controls, and resource allocation. The position offers the opportunity to influence enterprise performance and scalable financial operations within an Energy & Utilities environment.
Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.
Responsibilities
- Own and enhance the total Company NAV model for SJI
- Lead quarterly NAV update processes, coordinating inputs across departments
- Prepare strategic reporting for senior leadership and private equity sponsor
- Develop ad hoc valuation analyses to support strategic decision-making
- Analyze impact of capital structure and financing alternatives on valuation
- Translate regulatory changes into financial outcomes and valuation adjustments
- Evaluate commodity sensitivities affecting cash flows and strategic options
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and 12 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 8 years of experience
- Advanced financial modeling and valuation skills, including DCF and NAV
- Strong understanding of utility regulation and capital structure in energy infrastructure
- Ability to present complex analyses succinctly for executive audiences
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with BI tools is a plus

Pay
$139,125 – $222,600 annually
