Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst
Job Summary
We are seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our dynamic team. Reporting to the CFO, this role plays a critical role in supporting the bank's financial strategy and decision-making processes.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports analyzing variances, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Gather data, coordinate with business units, and ensure accuracy and timeliness of budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives, capital allocation, and cost management projects.
- Monitor and report on the bank’s financial performance against targets, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
- Affirm regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand business drivers, risks, and opportunities, providing financial guidance as needed.
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems and process improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis.
- Experience with financial software and ERP systems is a strong plus.
- High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
- Strong ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.

Pay
Compensation is based on industry salary ranges, internal salary structures, experience, skills, and other job-related factors.
Schedule
Remote role within the United States; Eastern Standard Hours. Standard banking hours, with occasional overtime during peak reporting periods.
