About the role

As a Financial Operations Specialist, you’ll ensure smooth financial operations for our clients, handling various aspects of day-to-day financial management including payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.

What You’ll Do

  • Process and manage accounts payable and receivable
  • Handle full-cycle payroll processing and reporting
  • Manage payment collections and vendor relationships
  • Process expense reports and credit card reconciliations
  • Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
  • Identify and implement process improvements
  • Support month-end close activities
  • Auxiliary support for special projects and system implementations

What You Bring

  • 2+ years experience in financial operations
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processing and requirements
  • Experience with accounting software and payment systems
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively

Bonus Points

  • Experience with multiple accounting platforms
  • Knowledge of automation tools and processes
  • Understanding of Canadian payroll regulations
  • Background in process improvement
