Responsibilities
- Provides financial insight in support of the business operations and performance management for the Service Lines and Medical Group practices and/or Acute Care Operations assigned to the position.
- Collaborates with Operations Leadership in developing and monitoring relevant financial performance metrics and financial data to determine profitability and identify areas for improvement.
- Works with other corporate financial service departments and staff to assist with data analysis, reporting, budgeting and in-depth analysis of material financial performance variances.
- Develops understanding of Provider Compensation program in partnership with the Compensation team. Uses that knowledge to support Directors of Operations to be effective in their communication with Providers and management of their pay practices.
- Collaborates with other department managers in supporting the operations of the Service Lines and Medical Group practices and/or Acute Care Operations.
- Participates in Financial and Operational Meetings.
- Works on process improvement initiatives, as appropriate.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Bachelors Degree Required. Masters Degree in Business Administration (MBA) Preferred.
- Work Experience: 3 years Required.
- Courses and Training: Accounting/Finance Upon Hire Required. CMA Certification Upon Hire Preferred.
- Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and computer skills. Analytical skills. Able to work well in a team. Has knowledge of the various reimbursement methodologies across all continuums of healthcare. Ability to work independently on projects. Validates data for reasonableness.
