Our client is seeking a high-performing finance professional to join its CFO-sponsored Finance Transformation & Value Creation function. This team is responsible for modernizing MIM's finance operating model, enhancing management insight, and translating strategic priorities into measurable financial outcomes. We are looking for a Financial Athlete—a hands-on analytical professional with the financial modeling capabilities of an investment banking or private equity analyst and the business judgment to operate effectively in a fast-moving, senior-facing environment. The role's primary focus is assets under management (AUM), net flows, and revenue analysis across MIM's combined platform. The successful candidate will own core analytical models, develop forward-looking forecasts, investigate financial performance drivers, and translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for the CFO and senior leadership team. Beyond core FP&A responsibilities, the role will contribute to value creation tracking, post-acquisition integration, reporting improvement, and finance transformation initiatives. This is an opportunity to take on broader responsibilities and greater senior-level exposure than a traditional financial reporting role, with meaningful ownership of both analytical outputs and management decisions. This is not a reporting production role. The successful candidate must be able to build models from source data, develop executive-ready presentations independently, and move from analysis to recommendations without relying on a dedicated support or presentation-production team. Candidates must demonstrate relevant asset management, investment banking, or private equity experience, hands-on financial model-building capability, and the ability to independently produce executive-quality presentations. Candidates who do not meet these three requirements should not advance. Key ResponsibilitiesAUM, Flows & Revenue Analysis: Own AUM bridge and net flow analytics across MIM's combined platform, separating organic flows, market movements, foreign exchange impacts, and acquisition-related effects. Build driver-based revenue models linking AUM, net flows, fee rates, and product mix to management fee revenue, and develop rolling forecasts incorporating sales pipeline data, historical realization rates, and known redemptions.Financial Modeling, Forecasting & FP&A: Build and maintain financial models from source data, including AUM and EBITDA bridges, expense run-rate analyses, scenario models, and multi-year projections. Lead monthly variance analysis across revenue, AUM, flows, expenses, and EBITDA, identifying root causes, assessing business implications, and supporting budgeting and strategic planning through rigorous, driver-based forecasts.Executive Reporting & Communication: Independently develop CFO-ready and board-quality materials, including management reporting packages, investment committee memoranda, strategic review presentations, and executive summaries. Translate complex financial analysis into concise narratives, actionable insights, and polished visual exhibits for senior leadership, with minimal reliance on presentation or production support.Value Creation & Performance Management: Develop and maintain financial scorecards tracking transformation initiatives against EBITDA, cost reduction, and cash flow targets. Establish consistent frameworks for quantifying savings and normalizing run-rate benefits, and prepare analysis and materials for performance reviews, initiative steering meetings, and CFO updates.Post-Acquisition Integration & Process Improvement: Support PineBridge and MIM finance integration through reporting harmonization, account mapping, data reconciliation, and consolidated management reporting. Identify reporting gaps, establish practical data flows and governance protocols, and contribute to reporting automation and process improvement initiatives. Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting or related field.3-5 years of experience, with direct exposure to asset management, investment banking, or private equity mandatory. Big 4 advisory experience may be relevant when supplemented by the required industry exposure and hands-on analytical capabilities.Demonstrated ability to build financial models from scratch using source data, such as AUM or EBITDA bridges, LBO or DCF models, revenue forecasts, or comparable analytical constructs. Strong Excel proficiency, including driver-based model architecture, multi-tab structures, scenario analysis, controlled inputs, and clear, auditable outputs.Proven experience independently producing pitch books, investment committee memoranda, board presentations, or comparable senior-level financial materials. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to distill complex analysis into concise, precise executive narratives and actionable recommendations.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with the ability to investigate financial variances, identify underlying business drivers, and translate findings into management insights. Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment in ambiguous, fast-paced environments, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work with limited direction.
