Financial Manager
Essential Job Duties
- Provide financial and accounting support to the activity Accounting Department, Budget Department, Financial Systems Department or Business Operations Department, or other organizational support elements and other activities.
- Apply knowledge of financial systems, document as-is client business practices, and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders to document, propose, and implement business process improvements.
- Collect, compile, organize and interpret financial information to assist Lead BFM/IPT Lead with recommendations for funding realignments/adjustments in response to changes in programs and/or funds availability.
- Develop, updated and maintain financial information within program briefings.
- Plan and manage funding allocations using the Common Spend Plan Tool (CSPT), ensuring timely and compliant execution.
- Track execution metrics, benchmark progress, and monitor carry-over funding; provide actionable recommendations to assist with meeting obligation and expenditure goals in accordance with appropriation requirements.
- Participate in weekly, monthly, and ad hoc IPT meetings to contribute and support the financial management decision-making process.
- Support with a variety of management activities, corporate initiatives, special projects, and data calls that may significantly impact the organization and its business operations.
- Utilize Navy-ERP to: Execute funding documents, Extract, analyze and interpret financial reports, Prepare and distribute weekly and monthly funding status reports to team members and leadership.
Experience Requirements
- 3-10 years of Navy-ERP experience is required.
- Applicable experience performing financial management functions as outlined above.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Financial management experience should include financial analysis of business programs, development of cost estimates, program status reports.
- Knowledge of DoD Federal Management Regulations (FMR), Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Planning, Programming, Budget, and Execution (PPBE) process.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Excellent time management, attention to detail, and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and capable of working with financial tools and databases.
Education Requirements
- BA/BS degree in relevant field.
- Associates Degree plus two (2) years additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelors Degree.
- Four (4) years of additional work experience performing duties described in the functional description of the labor category may be substituted for a Bachelor's Degree.

Pay
The estimated base salary range for this position is $78,000.00 - $114,000.00. The offered rate will be based on the selected candidates level of knowledge, education, experience and skill sets.
