Duties Summary
You will serve as a FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT ANALYST in NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Requirements
- Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-09 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
- Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Identifying, analyzing and resolving a range of financial and budgetary problems such as the development of alternative methods of funding; formulation of budget estimates for programs; and adjusting financial policies in which requirements have changed.
Qualifications
- Examples of specialized experience include:
- Analyzing and recommending costs and benefits of alternative methods of financial management of programs and administrative operations;
- Interpreting budgetary/accounting policies and practices to resolve technical and operational problems with retail procurement procedures;
- Presenting and defending budget reports and estimates to senior leadership;
- Establishing, monitoring, and validating financial management commitments and obligations;
- Utilizing knowledge of Working Capital and Aircraft Navy (APN)-6 funds.
