Financial Lines Attorney
About the role
Kennedys, a Legal 500 and Chambers-ranked global law firm serving insurers and the London market, is seeking motivated and dynamic attorneys to join its national and international financial lines practice. The position can be based in Chicago, New Jersey, New York City, Philadelphia or San Francisco, as our culture fosters global collaboration daily.
Responsibilities
- Litigation and dispute resolution experience in financial institutions, directors & officers' liability, management liability (public and private entity), professional liability, bank liability, crime, fidelity, product recall, miscellaneous errors & omissions, political risk, employment practices, and other similar coverage lines.
- Experience with representations & warranties is a plus.
- An interest in marketing and thought leadership efforts through practice related publications, professional association involvement, and other similar opportunities.
Requirements
- Admitted and in good standing in the respective state they are applying to work in.
- Additional admissions in other states, a plus.
Qualifications
- At least three years of litigation and dispute resolution experience in any one or more of the specified insurance lines of coverage.
Skills
- Strong legal research and writing skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Pay
The base salary range for this position ranges from $150,000-$200,000. Other factors such as skills, experience, qualification, and location may determine actual salary.
