About the role

The Financial Leadership Development Program (FLDP) at Brunswick is a premier rotational leadership program designed to accelerate the development of future finance leaders. Participants gain exposure to both corporate and operational finance environments, creating a well-rounded foundation for future finance leadership opportunities across Brunswick.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze financial performance and identify key trends, risks, opportunities, and drivers impacting income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis to inform strategic business decisions.
  • Leverage modern finance technologies and analytics tools, including Power BI, Oracle, automation solutions, and AI-enabled capabilities to enhance reporting, generate insights, and support decision-making.
  • Partner with cross-functional leaders to understand business drivers, influence decision-making, and improve business performance.
  • Prepare and present financial analyses, recommendations, and strategic insights to finance and business leaders, including senior leadership teams.
  • Lead or contribute to high-impact projects and continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, automation, and operational effectiveness.
  • Participate in structured professional development, mentorship, and networking opportunities throughout the program.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance from an AACSB-accredited university, with an expected graduation date between December 2026 and June 2027.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.3.
  • At least one relevant internship, co-op, leadership, or professional experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Leadership experience, initiative, and intellectual curiosity.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Willingness and ability to relocate for rotational assignments.

Qualifications

  • Permanent authorization to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship requirements.
  • Preferred qualifications include progress toward, or interest in pursuing, a CPA, CMA, or other professional certification; experience with ERP systems, financial planning tools, reporting platforms, or related technologies; experience using Power BI or other data visualization tools; advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Pay

The starting annual base salary for this position is $76,000. In addition to base pay, participants are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.

Schedule

Hybrid work environment with three days per week in the office. Flexibility to work additional hours during key reporting and planning cycles. Periodic travel may be required for rotational assignments, development events, or business meetings.
