Responsibilities
- Assist in managing and nurturing relationships with clients and prospects within the assigned territory.
- Drive new business development through proactive prospecting, coordinate meetings, prepare presentation materials, and track follow-ups for timely responses.
- Maintain CRM records and ensure data accuracy across sales pipelines.
- Develop deep expertise in BHG products, deal structures, and market positioning.
- Strategically manage territory to maximize pipeline development, coverage, and revenue opportunity.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver client outcomes.
- Support senior-level representatives with daily operations, reporting, and client communications.
- Represent BHG Financial with professionalism and polish in all interactions.
Requirements
- Proven experience in new business sales, business development, or financial services.
- Demonstrated ability to build a pipeline and convert new relationships into revenue.
- Ability to manage a territory and prioritize high-value opportunities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- High level of organization and discipline in managing the pipeline and sales activity.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Travel Requirements
- Travel is required every other week within the assigned territory to build and develop new client relationships.
- Attendance at association conferences, industry events, and client meetings, including events that may occur on weekends and holidays.
- Within the first 6 months of employment, all employees will travel to attend the BHG All Oars Experience.
