We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to join our dynamic team. This is a permanent, hybrid position that offers the flexibility to work both in-office and remotely. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in our Engineering industry, assisting in the financial decision-making process to drive business strategy and growth. Responsibilities
- Assist in the annual budgeting process and monthly forecasting.
- Conduct variance analysis to identify trends and evaluate financial performance against the budget.
- Develop and maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to monitor financial health and business performance.
- Prepare comprehensive financial reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
- Create and update dynamic dashboards using Tableau to visualize financial data and trends.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis as required to support strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely monthly financial reporting.
- Utilize advanced Excel skills to analyze large datasets, improve processes, and create financial models.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or related field. An MBA degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Proficiency in Tableau, Advanced Excel, and other financial software.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, variance analysis, and KPIs.
- Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively convey complex financial information to non-financial associates.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
- Self-starter with a high level of initiative and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
