Financial Controller

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and direction to the assurance/risk advisory practice, ensuring all activities are completed on time and per applicable auditing standards and regulations
• Handle corporate Statutory or Internal Audits end to end with reporting/discussion with Audit committees and management
• Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective actions
• Manage the monthly consolidation of the income statement and balance sheet
• Control post-closing entries and consolidation adjustments
• Perform various control procedures to ensure the integrity of reported financial results
• Finalization of Accounts, notes to accounts, and MIS reporting
• Prepare different SEC schedules
• Develop key performance indicators to monitor and drive the business's financial performance
• Conduct financial and business forecasting, preparation of financial statements, planning, and reporting
• Provide monthly/quarterly high-quality MIS for management review and analysis
• Perform evaluations of assets and liabilities and manage inventory measures per SOPs

Job Requirements

• Strong knowledge of PPT, Excel, and BI Tools, with a thorough understanding of dashboards and PPTs
• Good communication skills and the ability to undertake multiple tasks simultaneously and cope with a changing working environment
• Strong financial, accounting, and control orientation
• Ability to define, simplify, standardize processes, and implement best practices
• Proactive thinking and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
• Strong understanding of risk and controls

Qualifications

• Chartered Accountant (CA) with 10+ years of experience
