Financial Consultant - AFSOC

About the role

Provide AFSOC with assistance in achieving and maintaining auditable financial statements. Assist the Government in providing and applying innovative methodologies to rapidly and efficiently conduct activities necessary to identify and improve logistics assessable unit (AU) deficiencies in accordance with OUSD(C) Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) guidance. Support USSOCOM requirements for full financial statement audits.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an integrated team composed of Seller and Government personnel to achieve Key Tasks.
• Support Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) Testing and Reporting Efforts.
• Support FIAR Correction Efforts.
• Support Audit Examinations and Site Visit Efforts.
• Support Audit Sustainment Efforts.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen with a valid drivers license.
• Minimum of three years of experience with USSOCOM and USAF logistics information management and inventory systems.
• Associated Degree (minimum); Bachelor’s degree (preferred).
• Experience in Air Force material/property/aviation inventory management.
• Must possess an active, adjudicated secret clearance prior to beginning work and must maintain throughout the entirety of the period of performance.
