About the role

The Financial Center Manager Associate (FCMA) will participate in a comprehensive, customized on-boarding and education program. This includes rotations in Operations, Sales & Service, Lending, Small Business, Preferred, and Sales & Operations Management. The role provides a robust learning approach to prepare for a Financial Center Manager position. After successful completion of the training program, the FCMA will be placed in a Financial Center.

Responsibilities

  • Complete the FCMA roadmap and all onboarding activities, including Consultative Selling Skills Certification.
  • Deepen Consumer and Small Business customer relationships by providing a memorable customer experience.
  • Gain and maintain working knowledge of Fifth Third's products, services, processes, and internal resources to guide and lead the team.
  • Master the consultative sales process to proactively identify financial needs of customers and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Develop an integrated book of business strategy where all customers have a Financial Needs Assessment (FNA) and are assigned to the best banker for ongoing support.
  • Source, develop, coach, and lead a team that reinforces Fifth Third’s Core Values and business strategies.
  • Cultivate a One Bank culture that proactively collaborates with business partners.
  • Participate in community-benefiting activities.
  • Adhere to the Bancorp Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other related policies, modeling ethical behavior.
  • Assist in providing employees with timely, candid, and constructive feedback; develop employees to their full potential and provide growth opportunities.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • College degree or two (2) or more years of leadership experience in a sales environment.
  • Ability to professionally represent Fifth Third Bank in verbal and written communication.
  • Capable of analyzing credit and financial information.
  • Ability to successfully execute and coach sales activities.
  • Exhibits business acumen and demonstrated ability in making sound decisions.
  • S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).

Working Conditions

  • Normal office environment.
  • Extended viewing of computer screens.
  • Periodic travel within the Bancorp footprint to attend meetings and/or training.

Pay

The base salary for this position reflects the range of salary levels for all roles within this pay grade across the U.S. Individual salaries will vary based on factors such as role, relevant skillset, experience, education, and geographic location.
