Financial Center Consultant I (Teller) - Arlington

About the role

EECU is looking for a Financial Center Consultant I (Teller) to bring energy, enthusiasm, and top-notch service to our Arlington, TX location. As the friendly face of the credit union, you’ll welcome members, assist with transactions, and connect them with products and solutions to support their financial goals.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional member experiences through constant personal interaction.
• Provide a complete service and sales experience, exceeding monthly sales goals.
• Perform teller functions including deposits, withdrawals, and check cashing, while resolving operational issues.
• Proactively support branch marketing initiatives.
• Build rapport with members by providing excellence in service.
• Manage lobby coverage: greet members, answer calls, and direct members to appropriate staff.
• Comply with all Federal and State regulations, including Bank Secrecy Act, Anti-Money Laundering, and privacy laws (e.g., Reg DD, Reg E, Reg CC, Reg Z, Reg B, FCRA/FACTA).
• Attend initial and ongoing annual Bank Secrecy Act training.

Requirements

• One to two years of experience in a retail or financial environment, emphasizing service and rapport-building.
• Daily cash handling with the ability to balance without overages or shortages.
• Strong communication skills for comfortable and professional member interactions.
• High level of ownership, accountability, and enthusiasm.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Approachable, empathetic, and skilled at problem-solving.
• Relevant computer skills, solid math, and written communication abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual (Spanish) preferred.
• Good credit history (applicants will be evaluated in compliance with applicable law).
• Must pass a background check, including employment, criminal, and drug screening.

Schedule

40-hour work week. Available hours: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:15 PM, and Saturdays, 8:45 AM–1:15 PM.
