About the role
We're looking for a dynamic Financial Center Consultant II (Financial Center In-Store II / Banker) to work inside the H-E-B store in Forney, TX. In this role, you'll be the driving force behind exceptional service, helping members discover the right products and solutions for their financial goals. From welcoming members as the first point of contact to guiding them through new accounts and loan production, you'll play a vital role in building lifelong relationships.
You will work with members to find the best solutions to fit their financial needs and introduce them to convenient banking choices. Your responsibilities will include creating an outstanding member experience, expanding relationships with EECU members, and acquiring new relationships by providing needs-based products and services. This position supports locations in Frisco and Plano and requires flexibility to transition between roles and responsibilities.
The Financial In-Store Banker performs a broad variety of member service functions such as opening business and consumer accounts using needs-based selling techniques, processing loan applications, solving operational issues, and abiding by all related Federal and State rules and regulations.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the first point of contact for members, delivering exceptional service.
- Guide members through new accounts and loan production.
- Identify and provide needs-based financial products and services to members.
- Open business and consumer accounts using needs-based selling techniques.
- Process loan applications and solve operational issues.
- Abide by all Federal and State rules and regulations.
- Handle complex and difficult member interactions with professionalism.
- Support multiple financial centers as required by management.
Requirements
- One to three years of experience in the retail and/or financial industry or a related field.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of credit union products and sales skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy, active listening, and effective communication.
- Confidence, flexibility, and optimism in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work extended hours and multiple Saturdays.
- Flexibility to work at other financial centers as requested by management.
- Capable of regular, reliable, and timely attendance.
- Ability to perform under the stress of deadlines, extreme accuracy, and fast pace.
- Effectively handle multiple, simultaneous, and changing priorities.
- Exercise the highest level of discretion on confidential matters.
- Professional written and oral communication skills.
- Strong organization, time management, and multitasking abilities.
Schedule
Monday–Friday: 9:15 AM–6:15 PM
Saturday: 9:30 AM–2:15 PM
Closed Sundays
40 hours per week
