About the role
The Financial Assistant supports the financial operations of Dartmouth College's Computer Store and Endpoint Services. This role oversees financial transactions, manages budgets, tracks spending trends, and ensures compliance with institutional policies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial transactions, reporting, and forecasting for the Computer Store.
- Reconcile budgets, track spending trends, and help ensure compliance with college policies.
- Manage billing, assist with inventory workflows, and support the CAPS equipment program.
- Train and supervise student workers while maintaining documentation for internal audits.
Requirements
- An associate’s degree (or equivalent experience) with 2-3 years in a financial or administrative role.
- A knack for spreadsheets, accuracy, and problem-solving.
- Strong communication and organizational skills with a team-oriented mindset.
Qualifications
- Education and Years of Experience: Associates plus 2-3 years' experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities: Accuracy with numbers and accounting, proficiency with spreadsheet tools, strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, attention to detail, effective verbal and written communication skills, ability to collaborate and work effectively on teams.

Pay
Hiring Range: Minimum $30.00, Maximum $35.00
