About the role

Provide administrative support to the Financial Assistance Department in various operational tasks and provide professional support across multiple functions within the department.

  • Processes payments on active and charged off accounts within two operating systems.
  • Completes account offsets under direction of FA Leadership.
  • Manages vendor invoices to ensure they are accurate and applied to all required systems. Forwards all invoices to accounting for payment.
  • Responds to incoming emails, mail, service requests and sends daily collection letter files for processing.
  • Balances general ledger and other internal accounts.
  • Prints and mails requested documents for members, third parties and other departments.
  • Covers Financial Assistance activities within the department and organization.
  • Prepares documentation for litigation accounts at the request of Financial Assistance.
  • Orders supplies for Financial Assistance and Loan Servicing.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.
  • Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements.
  • Represents USALLIANCE in a professional and positive manner.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in an administrative role within a financial institution.
  • Knowledge in all MS Office products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.

Pay

  • The base hourly range for this position is $20.86 - $21.49, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential incentives.
  • This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus.
