Financial Analyst (Temporary)

Job Overview

Atlantic Group is hiring a Financial Analyst (Temporary) in Stamford, CT for a client who needs assistance with financial planning and analysis, accounts payable, expense forecasting, and financial reporting.

Responsibilities

• Financial Planning: Assist with expense forecasts, departmental budget consolidation, and financial planning deliverables.
• Accounts Payable Support: Provide invoice coding, audit documentation, and backup support during month-end and year-end close.
• Cash Flow Forecasting: Analyze accounts payable activity and support short-term cash flow projections and fixed asset planning.
• Reconciliations: Perform general ledger and prepaid asset reconciliations, process reclassifications, and coordinate accrual activity.
• Variance Analysis: Compare actual results to forecasts, investigate differences, and prepare follow-up analysis for finance leadership.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
• Experience: 5+ years of financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, accounts payable, or financial reporting experience is required.
• Industry Knowledge: Experience with fixed asset accounting, fund accounting, financial close, budgeting, forecasting, or audit support is preferred.
• Technical Skills: Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookup formulas, and large data files, are required, and experience with ERP or invoice processing systems is preferred.
