About the Role
The Senior Financial Analyst performs a variety of financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, building financial models, assisting with financial planning, performing research and analysis, preparing reports, and assisting with close processes. This role provides financial analytics that influence senior leadership to make informed strategic decisions supporting business initiatives. You’ll network internally with a diverse group of business partners across UMB’s footprint, guiding leadership to decisions that impact the company’s success.
Responsibilities
- Explain financial analyses to senior leadership to influence strategic decisions.
- Create and determine return on investments for projects or products to assess profitability or inform modeling decisions.
- Transform raw data into informative presentations or reports for senior leadership using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Management (with emphasis in Accounting), or related area OR equivalent work experience.
- 3 years of finance or related experience.
- Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Financial Management or Hyperion.
Pay
Compensation Range: $98,208 - $144,705. The posted range represents UMB’s good faith and reasonable estimate based on its budget and expectations for the role, though actual compensation may vary by geographic location, experience level, and other job-related factors.
