About the Role
The Financial Analyst, SG&A is responsible for the day-to-day management of all operating expenses and will assist with administration of the consolidated planning and reporting tool. This role will lead month-end reporting, monthly forecasting, budgeting, and strategic planning processes for SG&A. This role will work with each department to promote cost savings and review spending monthly.
What You're Good At
- Provide detailed variance analysis of SG&A results
- Key business partner providing support in tracking actuals and building forecasts
- Prepare Monthly Management Results and Board Presentations for SG&A budget to actual results, providing insights and any risks/opportunities to latest forecasts
- Drive cost saving initiatives to reduce waste and identify opportunities
- Assist the annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecast process
- Provide analysis of monthly financial results, including the guidance on quarterly and full year performance
- Support strategic planning for SG&A expenses
- Lead the standardization of SG&A reporting
- Assist in the administration of One Stream, the company's planning and reporting tool
What You Contribute
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 2+ years' experience within a finance or accounting role required
- Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint skills
- Experience with an ERP system (D365 a Plus) as well as a financial forecasting/reporting system (One Stream a plus)
- Excellent presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail is a must
- Experience with AI forecasting/reporting is a plus
