About the role
The Financial Analyst assists in the designing, analyzing, and implementing systems and procedures for the budgeting, reporting, and controlling of hospital expenditures and revenues. They also assist in preparing and analyzing data relating to third party reimbursement rates and regulations, preparing, analyzing, and developing survey reports, cost reports, and other accounting reports as requested, and assisting with the development and preparation of profit and loss analyses. Additionally, they assist in updating and maintaining pricing manuals and other procedure manuals, as well as assisting in maintaining authorized manpower and activity reports.Responsibilities
- Assists in the designing, analyzing, and implementing systems and procedures for budgeting, reporting, and controlling hospital expenditures and revenues.
- Affirms data relating to third party reimbursement rates and regulations.
- Prepares, analyzes, and develops survey reports, cost reports, and other accounting reports as requested.
- Affirms profit and loss analyses.
- Affords assistance in updating and maintaining pricing manuals and other procedure manuals.
- Affords assistance in maintaining authorized manpower and activity reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of budget procedures
