Financial Analyst - Level 4
About the role
This position is 100% onsite and cannot accommodate telecommute work. As a Financial Analyst, you will perform analyses and prepare financial reports to ensure program contracts remain within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters, comply with government cost control requirements, and adhere to applicable accounting guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Cook up and deliver program financial reports for internal and external customers, with a focus on program cost incurrence, material tracking, and labor spending.
- Proactively identify program cost and schedule risks and support the development and implementation of mitigation actions.
- Coordinate and prepare program financial forecasting and reporting, including the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Strategic Plan (LRSP).
- Monitor, forecast, and manage program financing mechanisms such as Accounts Receivable, Advanced Payments, and Accounts Payable.
- Support audits, reviews, fact-finding, and development of program cost estimates, customer proposals, and negotiations.
- Develop funds run out (FRO) analyses to align program funding needs with government funding availability.
- Collaborate with business, functional, and technical staff to address customer requests.
- Brief executives on complex financial performance, analyses, and concepts.
Requirements
No clearance required to start. Proficiency with MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of business management, finance, operations, or accounting experience – OR – Master’s degree with 6 years of business management, finance, operations, or accounting experience – OR – PhD with 4 years of business management, finance, operations, or accounting experience.
Skills
- Experience briefing complex financial performance, analyses, and concepts to executive leadership.
- Experience working with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
- Experience with project management software (COBRA), SAP Management Project Systems Module, and IBM Business Analytics (Cognos).
- Aerospace and Defense industry experience.

Pay
Primary Level Salary Range: $117,500.00 - $176,300.00
Schedule
This position will work a 9/80 schedule, with every other Friday off.
