Financial Analyst Lead

Job Summary

Serves as a resource to all team members. Mentors new employees assigned to team.

Essential Functions

  • Performs statistical, cost, and financial variance analysis of data to evaluate financial performance and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Provides guidance on business issues including financial and profitability analysis.
  • Develops solutions to problems of unusual complexity, which require a high degree of ingenuity, creativity, and innovation.
  • Serves as a consultant to assigned areas of the organization to support the financial goals and objectives of Corewell Health.

Qualifications

  • Required:
    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, finance, business administration, economics, statistics or related field
    • 5 years of relevant experience in Finance, accounting, or related work
    • Formal or informal leadership experience
    • Commensurate with experience
  • PREFERRED:
    • Master's Degree in Business or Finance
    • LIC-Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - STATE_MI State of Michigan

Pay & Schedule

Weekly Scheduled Hours: 40
Hours of Work: 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Days Worked: Monday - Friday
Primary Location: SITE - Troy Hospital - 44201 Dequindre Rd - Troy
