Responsibilities
- Budgeting & Forecasting: Assist with annual budgeting, forecasting, and monthly financial reporting activities in partnership with finance leadership and department teams.
- KPI Reporting & Metrics Development: Track, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) including SaaS metrics such as ARR, MRR, churn, customer acquisition costs, and other growth-oriented financial metrics.
- Data Analysis & Decision Support: Analyze financial and operational performance data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and support decision-making across the organization.
- Collaboration Across Teams: Collaborate with finance leadership and cross-functional teams to understand business needs and support financial reporting and analysis activities.
- Process Building & Improvement: Help improve and enhance financial reporting processes, analytics, and operational workflows.
- Ad-Hoc Financial Projects: Support ad-hoc financial analysis, reporting, and special projects as needed.
Requirements
- 3- 5 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or related roles, preferably in a SaaS or high-growth environment.
- Strong experience with budgeting, forecasting, and building financial models.
- Exposure to SaaS metrics such as ARR, churn, retention, or subscription-based business models is preferred.
- Experience in a SaaS or high-growth environment is considered an asset.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong analytical and financial modeling skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling tools.
- Experience with BI tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.
- Hightly detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present financial data and analysis in a clear and impactful way to non-financial stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable building processes and systems in an evolving environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- CPA, CFA, or progress toward a professional designation is considered an asset.
