About the role
This role is part of Blue Origin corporate functions, providing centralized support across Blue Origin business unit teams, functions, and locations. We are looking for a motivated, analytical, critical thinker who has a track record of crafting solutions for challenging business gaps and problems to join our team.
Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business leaders for strategic decision-making and business improvements
- Develop and track financial and operational metrics to enhance performance
- Aid in annual and multi-year financial planning
- Analyze and report financial outcomes
- Implement cost accounting frameworks
- Optimize tools and processes for the Finance team
- Handle financial risk and opportunity management at the program level
Skills And Abilities
- Proficient in ERP tools, financial databases, and accounting software
- Strong collaboration, communication, and influencing skills
- Capability to manage multiple large projects and prioritize tasks
- Excellent analytical, strategic, and critical thinking abilities
- High integrity, ethics, and judgment
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or STEM
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Skilled in data mining and analysis across various datasets
- Advanced Excel proficiency
- Strong written communication and presentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with SQL
- Experience, or willingness to learn, in Python and workflow automation tools (Alteryx, Databricks, Tableau Prep)
- Experience, or willingness to learn, in Tableau or Microsoft BI
- Experience, or willingness to learn, in industrial, manufacturing, engineering, or technology sectors
