About The Role

This position focuses on budgets, forecasts, and rate setting. The chosen candidate will work cross-functionally with departments including Hosting, Network, Desktop, and Operations to plan and report business expenses, execute strategy, assess performance, and provide insights and analytics for decision-making across the Division. This unique role acts as the analytical engine of the company, supporting optimal business decision-making by leveraging strong accounting and compliance backgrounds to explore historical financial data, predict future results, and drive process and policy improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze current and past financial data and performance.
  • Provide financial models and forecasting.
  • Evaluate current capital expenditures and depreciation.
  • Identify trends in financial performance and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Assist with analyzing actual results against plan and forecast; prepare analysis as required.
  • Coordinate with other members of the finance team to review financial information and forecasts.
  • Perform detailed analysis with understanding of key drivers to forecast cost trends.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of business processes, looking for both control gaps and opportunities to gain process efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and projections based on analysis.
  • Illustrate financial trends with charts and graphs.
  • Handle ad-hoc reporting, analysis, and special projects as required.
  • Provide oversight and mentorship as needed.

Requirements

  • Detail-oriented, with unquestionable integrity and credibility.
  • Ability to "connect the dots" for others across multiple data points, making upstream/downstream connections that may not be easily noticeable.
  • Skilled in using Microsoft Excel.
  • Present creative and logical solutions to identified problems.
  • Advanced verbal and written communication skills, including documentation of findings and recommendations.
  • Drive solid understanding of cost structure/drivers by division/BU and partner with operations leadership to drive productivity.
  • Demonstrate strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
  • Communicate with judgment, tact, and diplomacy in dealing with internal customers within a matrix organization.
  • Possess initiative, enthusiasm, intellectual curiosity, a positive attitude, and ability to perform as a team player.
  • Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels of management.
  • Highly motivated and proactive, with strong organizational and project management skills to multitask and manage workload to timely completion.
  • Work independently and meet deadlines.

Pay

$25.65 - $35.00 hourly.
