Financial Analyst II (College of Medicine-Tucson)

About the role

You will support core activities in budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis while ensuring compliance with institutional policies and procedures. As a primary point of contact, you will assist departmental and center administrators and staff with the annual all-funds budget process and quarterly forecasting.

Responsibilities

• Review and validate financial data for accuracy
• Identify and assist in resolving discrepancies
• Prepare routine and ad hoc financial reports
• Analyze performance to support informed operational decision-making
• Collaborate within the finance team and with internal stakeholders
• Apply established principles and analytical tools
• Escalate complex or unusual issues as appropriate
