About the role
The Financial Analyst II plans, organizes and directs day-to-day analytical activities and functions related to the fiscal and administrative functions for the department. Provides administrative services and analytical support to management.
Responsibilities
- Maintain daily cash flow analysis and forecasting.
- Download banking activity and maintain proper bank balances.
- Instruct accounting to make necessary transfers.
- Prepare daily cash report for senior management.
- Oversee and reconcile all bank accounts, ensuring alignment with cashflow reporting and the financial statements.
- Track all credit card activity and order machines when needed.
- Prepare monthly analysis to ensure fees paid are reasonable.
- Assist all users when issues arise.
- Track lockbox usage and close boxes as necessary.
- Analyze bank fees to maximize interest and lowering of fees.
- Make payments in 32BJ and 1199 portals as instructed by Benefits Department.
- Coordinate with accounting to track, review and reconcile amounts due between affiliated entities.
- Support timely settlement of intercompany transactions.
- Process investment-related custody wire transfers including fees and other transactions as directed by the Investment Office.
- Oversee and improve payment processes, including check issuance and reimbursements, ensuring compliance with internal controls and treasury policies.
- Assist in special projects when needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 4–5 years of experience in Finance.
Pay
The salary range for the role is $66,482.07 – $89,842.50 annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
