Financial Analyst II
Position Summary
beBright is seeking a motivated and analytical Financial Analyst II to support key initiatives across Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Business Development, and AI-driven reporting and analytics. This cross-functional role builds the analysis and reporting that help leaders make data-driven decisions related to financial performance, organizational growth, operational efficiency, and emerging technologies. The ideal candidate enjoys working with data, solving business problems, and partnering with leaders across multiple departments. About the Role
This cross-functional role supports financial planning and analysis, business development, and AI-driven reporting and analytics. Key responsibilities include assisting with annual budgets, financial forecasts, variance analysis, and financial planning activities; building and maintaining financial models that support operational and strategic decision-making; analyzing financial performance trends and identifying opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency; preparing monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for leadership; supporting business development through market analysis, growth modeling, due diligence, and practice acquisition analysis; collaborating with operational teams to identify trends, risks, and opportunities and develop insights that help leaders evaluate new opportunities; helping build metrics, KPIs, and dashboards in partnership with leadership, and supporting automated reporting and business intelligence; and supporting AI-related data work and performing ad hoc analyses that provide actionable insights across departments.
Responsibilities
- Aid in annual budgets, financial forecasts, variance analysis, and financial planning activities.
- Build and maintain financial models that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Analyze financial performance trends and help identify opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reporting packages for leadership.
- Support business development through market analysis, growth modeling, due diligence, and practice acquisition analysis.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, business analytics, FP&A, or a related analytical role.
- Strong Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, financial modeling, and data analysis.
- Experience with NetSuite, SQL, or data visualization platforms is a plus.
- Exposure to AI tools, automation platforms, or reporting technologies is preferred.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
- Good communication and presentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.
- Highly collaborative with strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
