About the Role
The Finance Analyst works closely with the Controller and Finance leadership to support accurate financial reporting, variance analysis, and monthly close activities. This role is responsible for preparing comprehensive monthly financial statements, analyzing actual results versus expectations and trends, and delivering clear insights to support management decision-making. The position also assists with financial modeling for capital investments and other strategic initiatives while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and procedures.
Essential Functions
- Work directly with the Controller to perform variance analysis, and financial/accounting reporting.
- Aid the Finance and Accounting functions with monthly closes and reporting.
- Analyze actual results for both P&L and Income Statement versus expectations and trends.
- Prepare monthly reporting package including Profit and Loss, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows, along with related variance analysis.
- Help build financial models to evaluate investment decisions (capital expenditures, etc.) and Investment results.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Conform with all corporate policies and procedures.
