About the role
Drive business performance by providing financial and strategic insight through sound financial analysis, identifying and tracking key metrics, and being a valued business partner.
Responsibilities
- Develops, maintains, and delivers monthly and quarterly analyses, reports, and presentations ensuring the accuracy of the information and identifying key points
- Performs general ad hoc analysis of financial and operational data for trends and variances and presents findings to finance management
- Uses historical trend information along with changes in market and business environments to create projections used for the budgeting or forecasting processes
- Identifies trends and developments in competitive environments and presents findings to finance management
- Manages large data sets from disparate sources for data mining, analysis, and research projects
- Develops financial models for what-if analysis, scenario planning, and M&A activities
- Works collaboratively with team members and other departments
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 2–4 years of relevant experience in finance, accounting, or a related field
- Knowledge of finance, economic, and accounting principles, including financial markets, financial statements, valuation concepts, and financial data analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret, manipulate, and analyze large data sets
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify issues, analyze information, and develop effective solutions
- Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to evaluate options and recommend sound approaches
- Demonstrated judgment and decision-making skills, considering risks and benefits to determine appropriate actions
- Familiarity with standard business concepts, practices, and procedures
Qualifications
- Pay Range: $64,300.00 - $85,700.00 Annually
