About the Role

The Financial Healthcare Analyst is a vital member of the SPBM/FI Operational Finance team, responsible for managing and supporting daily financial operations. This role involves handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, bank reconciliations, and 1099 activities. The analyst will generate and review financial reports, perform detailed data analysis, and utilize SQL, Excel, and other reporting tools to ensure financial accuracy and integrity. The position offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in finance, accounting, or related fields to contribute to critical financial processes while working remotely within the United States. The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional teams, supporting audits, resolving discrepancies, and providing actionable insights to improve financial operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in financial operations, accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or related finance functions
• Proficiency in SQL for querying, validating, and analyzing data
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, lookup functions, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks effectively, and maintain high accuracy and attention to detail
• Experience supporting audits, reconciliations, and financial discrepancy resolution is preferred
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred
• Prior experience working in a remote environment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Manage and execute daily financial operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, and bank reconciliations
• Support 1099 activities and ensure compliance with relevant regulations
• Generate, review, and analyze financial reports to meet client and operational requirements
• Utilize SQL and reporting tools to research, validate, and analyze financial and operational data
• Assist in audits, reconciliations, and gap analysis to identify and resolve discrepancies
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and technical teams to troubleshoot issues and support ad hoc analysis requests
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
• Participate in process improvements to enhance financial accuracy and efficiency
