Financial Analyst, Cloud Go-to-Market Finance

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience
• 4 years of experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function, or an advanced degree
• Experience executing full-cycle financial planning and analysis functions including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and modeling within a multinational company setting

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in financial modeling, financial planning and analysis (FP&A), consulting, or a related function
• Knowledge of the Cloud industry, different roles, and incentives
• Excellent quantitative, written, and presentation skills; innovative, organized, thorough; eagerness to further develop these skills

Financial Analysts ensure that Google makes sound financial decisions. As a Financial Analyst, your work—whether modeling business scenarios or tracking performance metrics—is used by our leaders to make strategic company decisions. Working on multiple projects at a time, you focus on the details while finding creative ways to tackle big-picture challenges. You'll lead individual projects to transform planning, tracking, and control processes and provide senior management with insightful recommendations, planning, and reporting support.

Cloud is a strategic priority for Google. We develop groundbreaking cloud solutions, including Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace, to enable our clients’ digital transformation. Our Finance team ensures the Cloud Go-to-Market (GTM) organization is enabled with accurate and timely financial information needed to drive success. We serve as an important partner and independent advisor to Cloud leaders, providing financial, analytical, and strategic insight.

Responsibilities

• Help execute the forecast and due diligence processes for total cloud revenue
• Partner with Specialty Product and Region Finance teams to roll up total cloud results and forecasts for revenue and present insights to the Cloud Executive leadership team
• Coordinate with Sales Operations teams on deliverables

Pay

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US: $116,000 - $166,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits.
