Financial Analyst
About the role
The Role We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytically driven Financial Analyst with experience supporting manufacturing, industrial, or consumer packaged goods (CPG) operations. This role is ideal for a finance professional who thrives in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment and enjoys translating complex data into actionable business insights. In this role, you will support enterprise-wide financial planning, profitability analysis, forecasting, and reporting while partnering cross-functionally with operations, supply chain, and business leaders to drive data-informed decision-making. You will play a key role in analyzing operational performance, identifying cost drivers, and supporting strategic initiatives that impact both current operations and long-term business growth.
Responsibilities
- Lead profitability planning and analysis across multiple business segments to support strategic growth initiatives
- Drive expense planning and departmental spend analysis, identifying trends and opportunities for optimization
- Develop and deliver timely, accurate, and insightful financial reporting to support business unit decision-making
- Support the development of the annual financial plan and contribute to forecasting activities
- Prepare and present monthly financial reports and executive-level materials, including written and verbal insights
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Demonstrated experience in financial analysis, reporting, or planning
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all organizational levels
Qualifications
- Background working within Manufacturing or Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) operations
- Experience with enterprise resource planning systems such as SAP
- Professional certification (such as Certified Public Accountant or Chartered Financial Analyst)
- 5-7 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance
- Proven ability to streamline processes and drive operational efficiencies

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Pay
$57,250 - $73,395 per year. Compensation depends on the selected candidate’s education and experience.
Schedule
Enjoy the best of both worlds with a hybrid schedule—collaborate in person at our East Chicago, IN office Monday through Wednesday and work remotely Thursday, Friday.
