Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Prep operating budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analyses for logistics and transportation operations.
• Monitor and analyze operating expenses, including fuel, transportation, labor, maintenance, and insurance costs.
• Dvelop financial models using Microsoft Excel to support cost analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Prepare periodic financial reports and management dashboards analyzing operational and financial performance.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support pricing decisions, contract evaluation, and business planning.
• Analyze financial and operational data to identify trends, assess variances, and recommend measures to improve cost control and profitability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Quantitative Finance, or a closely related field.
• At least 6 months of experience as a Financial Analyst in the logistics or transportation industry.
• Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and data analysis.
• Familiarity with logistics cost structures such as transportation, fuel, labor, and operating expenses.
