Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Create financial reports, dashboards, and tracking tools that help leaders monitor results and key business trends.
• Develop and maintain financial models to support planning, operational reviews, and ad hoc analysis.
• Absist with budgeting and forecasting activities by organizing data, evaluating assumptions, and highlighting risks or opportunities.
• Analyze variances between actual and expected performance and explain findings through clear, business-focused reporting.
• Gather and interpret financial and operational data to support performance measurement and decision support initiatives.
• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to improve the accuracy, consistency, and usefulness of recurring analyses.
• Contribute to special projects that involve finance systems, reporting enhancements, or process improvement efforts.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related analytical role.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, including the ability to work with large data sets and build practical analytical tools.
• Hands-on experience preparing reports, dashboards, tracking files, and financial models.
• Working knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and business performance reporting.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with close attention to accuracy and detail.
• Demonstrated ownership, willingness to learn, and openness to feedback in a work setting.
• Experience in a manufacturing environment is helpful but not required.
• Familiarity with enterprise financial systems such as Oracle, Hyperion, or similar platforms is preferred.
