Financial Analyst

Responsibilities
- Prepare financial statements, budgets, forecasts, and management reports, including analysis and commentary on financial performance.
- Analyze and process accounting transactions and job costs in accordance with accounting standards, company policies, and internal controls.
- Perform account reconciliations, prepare journal entries, and maintain the accuracy of the general ledger.
- Conduct budget-to-actual and variance analysis, providing insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Partner with project managers and operational teams to ensure accurate cost tracking, reporting, and financial performance monitoring.
- Auxiliary with year-end audit activities, special projects, and other financial analysis initiatives as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting; CPA designation or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred.
- 1–3 years of accounting, financial analysis, or related professional experience.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify issues and recommend effective solutions.
- Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience working with accounting and financial systems.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
