Financial Analyst

Responsibilities

• Provide accounting, finance and analytical support in the verification, control and processing of work activities in respective area.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and periodic financial statements, analyses, reports and data requests for management, internal departments and external entities.
• Responsible for placing safety as #1 priority in day-to-day work routine for self and others.
• Support accounting activities for the Generation and Transmission functions.
• Participate in monthly and annual reporting.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations.
• Handle various accounting functions such as service billing, inventory tracking, and grant reporting.
• Handle other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must possess a working knowledge of accounting fundamentals and principles at a level normally acquired through the completion of a four-year degree in accounting, finance or related field.
• CPA or professional certification desired.
• JD Edwards and utility accounting experience preferred.

Other Requirements

• Takes all measures necessary to protect networks, devices, programs and data from cyber-attack, damage or unauthorized access.
• May be required to maintain a valid driver’s license.
• Subject to the Company's substance abuse testing program.
