Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities

• Complete monthly/quarterly accounting close activities.
• Accurately prepare/process journal entries
• Inventory costing and valuation
• Complete account reconciliations and perform associated analysis and follow-up
• Prepare monthly and quarterly management reports
• Maintain work instructions and personal standard work documentation
• Develop and maintain policies and procedures as applicable
• Interface with internal and external auditors during quarterly reviews and the year-end audit
• Absorb and assist with trial balance variance reviews
• Participate in process improvement projects and activities

Required Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
• 2+ years of relevant experience required
• High proficiency in Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook
• Proficiency in SAP / HFM (Hyperion Financial Management) software preferred
• Strong interpersonal and problem solving skills
• The individual must be a clear and concise communicator, work well under pressure, be flexible to adapt to shifting priorities, and possess strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Meet reporting deadlines, which require identification and resolution of issues on a timely basis and proactive communication with others around the company
