Financial Analyst

About the role

HealthPartners is expanding its Finance Department and seeks a Senior Financial Analyst to support its Health Plan.

Responsibilities

• Support and assist leaders, other team members, and other areas of HealthPartners.
• Enhance processes and procedures to facilitate accurate and timely financial and managerial reporting and financial analysis.
• Maintain, develop, and support financial and managerial reporting.
• Afford leadership with operating and financial analysis efforts.
• Support financial forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Participate in special projects or studies as directed.
• Assist with the monthly close process.
• Support purchasing contracts.
• Support RFP responses.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a business-related field.
• One year of experience in finance, accounting, and/or a business-related field.
• Strong spreadsheet and computer skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships with all levels of management and staff.

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include experience in the healthcare industry and experience with budgeting/forecasting.
