About the role
As an Analyst on the FP&A team, you will conduct quantitative analyses impacting budgets, expenses, and other financial projects of public or private institutions. You will report current and expected financial performance and create financial models to guide decision-making. Additionally, you will provide actionable recommendations through analysis of cash flow, expenditures, revenue, depreciation, and investments for financial procedures, plans, and controls.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, implement, maintain, and support critical operational and corporate budgets
- Coordinate with the Reporting team to implement required reports and dashboards for financial business insights
- Collect and analyze financial information for assigned accounts, product lines, or business units to track the organization's progress against financial goals
- Conduct research and analysis to enhance business performance
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year college or university in Business Management, Finance, or Economics (MBA preferred)
- 0-2 years of financial modeling and analytical experience
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with enterprise performance management software (IBM Planning Analytics or similar)
- Experience with Analysis Services (preferred)

- Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a deadline-driven environment
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Performs sedentary work in an office environment with limited lifting (less than 10 pounds) or walking required
- Close visual acuity required to perform work at a computer terminal
- No exposure to adverse environmental conditions
- Requires repetitive typing motion, talking, hearing, grasping, and feeling
