What You Will Do
- conduct in-depth financial analysis, including revenue and expense tracking, variance analysis, and forecasting.
- prepare and analyze financial reports to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
- collaborate with department heads to develop and maintain annual budgets.
- assist in the preparation of financial forecasts and long-term financial planning.
- generate and distribute financial reports to senior management, department leaders, and external stakeholders.
- ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements.
- analyze cost structures and identify opportunities for cost containment and efficiency improvements.
- provide recommendations to reduce expenses while maintaining high-quality patient care.
- build financial models to support strategic decision-making, such as capital investment analysis and service line profitability.
- maintain and update financial databases and systems to ensure accurate and timely financial information.
- collaborate with IT and data teams to enhance data integrity and reporting capabilities.
- assist in financial audits and ensure compliance with healthcare financial regulations and standards.
What You Will Need
- Education: Bachelors Degree Required
- Certification: Certified Surgical First Assistant (CFA®) National Board of Surgical Technology Preferred, CPA preferred
- Experience: 2 years of Financial Analysis Experience, preferably in a healthcare setting required
