Financial Analyst

About the role

This is a fully onsite role at Dauch's Three Rivers Manufacturing Facility (TRMF).

Responsibilities

• Supports the accounting activities of the TRMF, including financial record keeping and reporting.
• Maintains records of the facility's financial activity in accordance with GAAP, organizational standards, and in compliance with Section 404 of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act.
• Creates reports on financial performance for internal and external use.
• Completes month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities related to foreign exchange, cash management, and tax, including preparing the appropriate audit work papers for such activities.
• Generates and assures accuracy of month end close data including complete financial statement report, preparation of journal entries, account analysis, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Supports the development of financial reporting requirements including use of corporate system to acquire and analyze transactional data and trends.
• Aids in the development of the monthly forecast, annual budget, and semi-annual Five-Year Strategic Plan.
• Assists operating departments in the analysis, communication, and interpretation of operating and financial data.
• Maintains frequent contact with others outside the work group.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in accounting and/or finance in an automotive manufacturing environment preferred.
• Understanding of financial systems.
• Excellent computer skills; experienced with Microsoft Office, including strong knowledge of basic functions in Microsoft Excel.
• Proven analytical ability and willingness to learn and adapt.

Pay

The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 annually.

Schedule

The schedule for this role is full-time, Monday through Friday, with standard business hours.
