Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, this dual-purpose position serves as a Financial Analyst for the company and a Financial Administrator for the Early Education Department.
Responsibilities
- Financial Analyst (60% of time)
- Report to and assist the Chief Financial Officer in financial analysis and planning
- Assist in the annual budgeting process
- Conduct the monthly rolling forecast process with each department
- Prepare the weekly cash flow report
- Review, analyze, reconcile, and report monthly Salesforce/CRM revenues, payments received, and receivables data
- Assist in month-end close, year-end close, and audit
- Assist in information systems implementation, conversion, or upgrade
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis tasks
- Financial Administrator (40% of time)
- Assist the Senior Director of the Early Education department in financial administration, with emphasis on budgeting, amendments, and final reporting due to strict compliance requirements from the Nevada Department of Education (NDE) and other external funding agencies (OEFA)
- Review, analyze, reconcile, and report monthly general ledger details to submit reimbursement requests to NDE and OEFA
- Serve as conduit and facilitator between the Finance department and the Early Education department for financial and administrative matters
- Perform ad hoc financial administration tasks for the Early Education department
Requirements
- University degree in accounting
- At least 5 years of accounting and/or financial analysis experience
- Nonprofit industry experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Professional demeanor
- Salesforce/CRM experience preferred
- QuickBooks Online Advanced experience is a plus
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods based on daily job responsibilities

Pay
$80,000 - $85,000 per annum
